East Tennessee has so many incredible wedding venues with mountain views, classic estates, modern spaces, and peaceful outdoor settings. After photographing weddings all over the area, there are a few places I consistently love coming back to. These venues not only photograph beautifully, but they take great care of their couples and create a seamless experience from start to finish.

Maple Grove Estate brings that classic East Tennessee charm: beautiful architecture, mature trees, and intimate outdoor spots that make portraits feel effortless. If you love an elegant, historic setting with room for quiet moments, this venue delivers every time.
The Trillium is known for its sweeping views of the Smokies, paired with clean, spacious indoor areas filled with natural light. It’s a great choice for couples who want a modern venue with unbeatable scenery… especially if you’re dreaming of a sunset ceremony or bright, airy photos!
Nichole’s Heirs has a way of making a wedding feel personal. The venue offers two settings — the Glass House and the Grand Hall — so couples can choose the vibe that fits their day. Both spaces are beautiful in every season and create an atmosphere where guests instantly feel at home.

If you love architecture and detail, The Kincaid House is a standout. The mix of history, beautiful grounds, and unique indoor spaces gives you a lot to work with for portraits. It’s one of those venues where every corner has something interesting to photograph.
Marblegate Farm blends water, farmland, and open space in a way that feels relaxed yet elevated. Spring and fall here are especially gorgeous, but it’s a strong venue year-round. If you want a countryside celebration without giving up a polished look, this is a great match.
The Magnolia offers beautiful interior spaces, great light, and a timeless aesthetic. It’s ideal for couples who want an elevated indoor venue that doesn’t need much added décor. It’s stunning on its own and photographs well from every angle.

What I love most about these East Tennessee wedding venues is that they’re designed with couples in mind. They’re beautiful, yes, but they also create an experience that feels smooth, welcoming, and intentional. And as a photographer, that combination makes all the difference in the moments we’re able to capture. If you’re planning a wedding in East Tennessee and looking for a photographer who can document your day with care and a true-to-color, editorial approach, get in touch. I’d love to hear about your plans!
